Lauren & Glen’s wedding at Rebel Creek reflected who they are, and how much love surrounded them. I could tell you there were many good moments, happy and reflective tears at this wedding. These moments make me so proud to be a wedding photographer. And yes, I even got a bit teary eyed myself watching the events unfold. These pictures tell it all. Enjoy.

Last week we hit downtown Toronto for a engagement shoot right in the couple’s urban backyard. As a photographer it’s always fun to use different locations and capture the couple in a location they feel is meaningful. Here are some highlights from our photography session:

Every wedding I shoot, I get a chance to get to know two people in love. It’s one of the best parts of the job. Rob and Bertha are Toronto-born-and-raised high school sweethearts. They have gotten each other through thick and thin, and apparently still have cutesy names for each other, after all these years.
The day started off quietly at the Sheraton Toronto hotel where the bride was getting ready. Things were a lot more hurried and rowdy at the boy’s downtown pad. Ceremony took place in the beautiful St. Michael’s Cathedral (under renovations, but it was still beautiful). Reception at the Toronto Board of Trade got off to a quick start with the dice kissing game. Soon it was University of Toronto dance off against the Waterloo crowd. All in all a beautiful and fun wedding. Congratulations! I wish you two more happiness in the years ahead.

I first met Glen & Lauren at the Ancaster show. They are easy-going, high-energy, and full of fun. And, they have gorgeous smiles. I can’t wait to see what they have cooked up for their wedding. Here are some previews from the Victoria Day weekend session!
Location: Bruecker Rhododendron Gardens, Port Credit (Mississauga Lakeshore)
At just 9 days old, little Jolène did an amazing job looking cute in yesterday’s session. She has long fingers and toes, and papa Stan wants her to be a basketball player one day while mama pictures her as the perfect Henkaa-nista!
Location: Couple’s home, North York, Toronto
I have a new look! Decided to donate a good chunk of my long hair to Locks Of Love.
